Everyone has a dream place they want to visit so bad. I do! Ever since I read a book that i got from the library called "Christmas in Denmark" I have fell in love with the countries traditions, food, and language. Just looking at the pictures from the book and reading about how Danes celebrate Christmas makes me want to go so bad over there, maybe even live there for a year or two, or more!:) Right now I am learning the language wich is kind of complicated learning it but it's worthwile learning a new language that you can defenetely use in the future. They're food is really interesting and different over there than how it is here. I have seen some pictures on Google and they eat they're sandwiches differentely in Denmark; they don't use two breads like we do they only use one bread, eating their sandwich like if it was a tostada. Another interesting food that i saw that is totally different is that their hotdogs are a little more big and the wiener sausages are more red and big. Their Christmas tradition is really interesting. I also read in the book that I have some Christmas tales written by Hans Christian Anderson, a famous Danish writer. One was called the Fir Tree which is about a tree that wants to become a Christmas tree, he does not want to be lonely anymore so he never loses hope that one day he will get chosen by a family. I love that story so much because it really makes me realize how much we as humans do not think nature as humans also, that plants and trees also have feelings of love and belonging. This story kind of reminds me of my mom whom she has her plants and treats them with the same love, caring, kindness, and respect as humans. Although all of Hans stories are fairytales that contain fantasy in them I believe that they also have meaning in them. I also want to visit Denmark because I have been dying to see The Little Mermaid statue that is in Denmark also, i found out that millions of people visit Denmark just for that reason:) pretty awesome huh? I also want to visit the Tivoli Garden where i read there are many great events and fun rides to take, and also Copenhagen, the capitol of Denmark. To me it all looks beautiful:)
Here are some pictures of Denmark:
