How has Reality T.V. changed the entertainment industry for better or worse?

For some reality television has changed the entertainment industry for worse because there are people who think or believe that reality shows are influencing young audiences like teenagers in a bad inappropriate way and think that those type of shows should be taken off television channels. Then there are others who support reality t.v. shows because they believe who watch those type of shows will get to learn from the reality stars mistakes. It will also let viewers see how another persons life is like behind the camera's if it is a reality t.v. show about a famous celebrity, such as Miley Cyrus.

In my point of view reality t.v. has changed the entertainment industry in both ways for better and worse. It has changed for better because now everybody is able to know what other people are doing. Teenagers can now learn more about life just by watching an episode of Catfish or Extreme Makeover Home Edition, television shows like that can help people learn from other people's mistakes. But also reality t.v. has changed in the entertainment industry for worse also because those type of shows can sometimes show inappropriate things that  people especially younger audiences are not supposed to know about, or is not good and healthy for them to see.

Reality Shows like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars can let viewers know and find out who will win and who will be the next star. Shows like The X Factor have inspired and encouraged teens and young adults to perform and create their own music, or be in the competition show themselves. To me reality shows have greatly affected and changed the way the entertainment industry sees how television is now. Before television shows did not contain inappropriate reality shows, neither were reality shows common back then as they are now. Today there are people around the world who just want others to see, know, and learn more about the issues or problems others face in their daily lives, or there are others who want or like sharing with others how their life is like behind-the-cameras or in real life. 

So even though reality shows are popular now then they ever were before, to me it will always be that reality shows have changed the entertainment industry for both good and bad.
