Close to you
Posted on 13:41 by kumar
Hello Everyone!
Will forever love this song:) reminds me of why there's cute and hot guys in this world:)
Lyrics:
Why do birds
Suddenly appear?
Everytime you are near
Just like me
They long to be
Close to you
Why do stars
Fall down from the sky?
Everytime you walk by
Just like me
They long to be
Close to you
(*) on the day that you were born
The angels got together and decided
To create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moondust in your hair
Of gold and starlight in your eyes of blue
(**) that is why all the girls in town
Follow you all around
Just like me
They long to be
Close to you
Repeat (*)
Repeat (**)
Just like me
They long to be
Repeat (*)
Repeat (**)
Just like me
They long to be
Close to you
Woo... close to you...

Hello Everyone!
You might get bored of me not having anything else to post about but i am crazy about 70's fashion that i feel like my head might explode if i don't get it all out. I wish i was born in the seventies but I still love that i was born in the 90's. Here are new pictures that i got from another great website. Love the pictures especially the outfits the model is wearing. You can go to her blog to read more about her style. http://waleswong.com/blog/2011/03/19/hippie-chic/

The Song that means most to me: Matchbox 20's "Unwell"
Posted on 14:23 by kumar
Hello Everyone!
I just heard this song right now on youtube love this song soo much because it just means alot to me. I've heard it eversince i was in sixth grade back in 2003 i would listen to this song alot on the radio. The music video goes well with the song.
Lyrics:
All day starin' at the ceilin' makin' friends with shadows on my wall
All night hearing voices tellin' me that I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for somethin'
Hold on, feelin' like I'm headed for a breakdown
And I don't know why
But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be, me
I'm talkin' to myself in public, dodging glances on the train
And I know, I know they've all been talkin' about me
I can hear them whisper, and it makes me think
There must be somethin' wrong with me
Out of all the hours thinkin', somehow I've lost my mind
But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell

I know, right now you don't care

Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're takin' me away
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired

But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be yeah, how I used to be
How I used to be
Well, I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be, how I used to be

Lyrics: "Tus Ojos" by Belanova
Viendo tus ojos
puedo descifrar el universo
El viento suave, el azul del cielo
al fin lo entiendo
Que este mundo gira
que algún día he de morir
pero contigo...
CORO
(uhhhh ahhhh uhh uhh)
y en esta historia...
(uhhh ahhhh uhh uhh)
no existe el tiempo
porque en tus brazos
te inventé el universo
al fin entiendo
que el pasado y el futuro solo existe hoy
Viendo tus ojos
puedo descifrar el universo
El viento suave, el azul del cielo
al fin lo entiendo
Que este mundo gira que algún día
he de morir
pero contigo...
CORO
(uhh ahhh uhh uhh)
y en esta historia...
(uhhh ahhh uhh uhh)
no existe el tiempo
porque en tus brazos
te inventé el universo
al fin entiendo
que el pasado y el futuro solo existe hoy
(uhhhh ahhh)
y hoy te amo...
y hoy te amo...
y hoy te amo...oh oh ohh ohh
y hoy te amo...oh oh ohh ohh
puedo descifrar el universo

My Hero: My Aunt Carmen (RIP)
Posted on 11:39 by kumar
Hello Everyone!
Today I want to talk about someone special, no it is not a guy but rather someone from my family that died a long time ago when I was still a little girl, i don't remember exactly how old I was but i only know that me and the rest of my family cried when we found out that she had gone forever. I admire my Aunt Carmen second to my mom because she has taught me how to never give up and to achieve my dreams and goals no matter what difficulties life throws at you. I've had to learn the hard way by my Aunt, that education is really important and is something in life that we as humans should do if we want to succeed, survive, or do something in our lives. When I lived in Mexico for a while with my Aunts and Grandparents I went to school over there during first and second grade, it would be difficult for me to turn in my homework everyday and to do it. I know that my Aunt only wanted us to do better so that we can succeed by making us study with her everyday so that way me and my twin sister do not forget what we learn in school. I am grateful for letting my Aunt teach me and my twin sister, Jennifer to read, and write in Spanish because of that now i completely have an advantage at a getting a job quicker because nowadays every company hires someone faster whose bilingual than someone who only knows one language especially if you're working at a restaurant or a clothes store, or hotel and other places where people from other countries come to visit it's always a great idea to learn three or four languages or at least two. My Aunt was mostly considered like my second teacher:) But eventhough she was strict at times she was also a really supportive and understanding person, someone who had care and compassion for others and for her own family. What I never knew about my Aunt Carmen is that my mom once told when we were looking at the old pictures of my family, I found a picture of this boy from Africa that she used to sponsor, my mom told me that she used to do a lot of charity work and that she would donate money to the boy every month. When my mom told me that i was amazed at how much my Aunt really cared and wanted to make a difference in the world. Another thing that I did not know about my Aunt was that she was studying to become a teacher, I was all I never knew my own aunt wanted to be a teacher!:) and to think that my own mother wants me to be a teacher too. Another thing that my own adventorous aunt did was travel alot to different countries, she would go a lot to Spain because that was her favorite place to visit all of the time and I remember my mom told me that she herself wanted to take me and my twin sister one day also, saying that she really wanted us to go visit Spain because it's such a beautiful country. My Aunt also knew a lot of successful and important people during her travels she also met a guy in Spain whom she madly fell in love with and he also fell in love with her also so they decided to get married a few years later after they had dated for a while. What's sad is that my parents never really wanted to tell me clearly of what my aunt died of, the only answer they would give me all the time was that she had died of stomach cancer, but then a few years later i told my mom to tell me the truth and she told me that she had died of one of the worst diseases anyone can get, AIDS, i was horrified at what my mom told me and what's more worse is that she died while being pregnant also. I was so sad when my mom told me finnally the reason of why she had died, she gave her life to be with her husband in heaven and although it hurt me to realize that i was never going to see her again I knew I had to move on and just have those old memories of the past in my mind. Sometimes I regret not seeing her during her last few years that she had left of the disease that was eating her away. She will always be in my heart and memory forever. The most valuable thing she has thought me was to have compassion for other and to reach out to others when they need it the most, to have respect for others, and to only surround myself with positive people, just as she did i am also doing it. I just hope that one day I can be like her also.

My comfort song- Linda Ronsdadt's song "Blue Bayou"
Posted on 12:35 by kumar
Hello Everyone!
Looooove listening to this song:) it's lyrics comfort me so much I listen to it everytime i feel blue or sad, or lonely. I recommend you guys listen to this classic song:) you'll love the lyrics so much.
The Lyrics By Linda Ronsdadt "Blue Bayou"
I feel so bad I got a worried mind
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind
On Blue Bayou
Saving nickles saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou
I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be
Gonna see my baby again
Gonna be with some of my friends
Maybe I'll feel better again
On Blue Bayou
Saving nickles saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou
I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be
Oh that boy of mine
By my side
The silver moon
And the evening tide
Oh some sweet day
Gonna take away
This hurting inside
Well I'll never be blue
My dreams come true
On Blue Bayou.

My Own Bucket List
Posted on 10:39 by kumar
Hello Everyone!
I wanted so to do my own bucket list of things i want to do before i die, so here it is:) You can do one also. Here is a list of things i hope to achieve before I die:)
1. Visit Denmark, Italy, Canada, Russia, London, Germany, Australia, and anywhere else around the world:)
2. I want to become an actress so right now secretly i am studying Theater in College. I have not told my parents because they think that acting is just a waste of time, so right now they think I am taking Child Development classes, which is not true, my own mom thinks i should be better off being a Preschool teacher because i;m so patient (well i am) but that does not mean i have to be a teacher. I have been interested in acting eversince i was 10 years old, but since my parents are not financially well off i wasn't able to start acting so i took two years of theater in high school and now that i'm in college i'm continuing my theater education. So I do seriously want to do acting!:)
3. Write my first novel, i want to be an author of teenageand children's books and also write a book of poems, love poetry because you get to express how you really feel inside. I love reading so mainly that is how i started getting interested in writing my own stories, right now i'm in the proccess of writing my first short story so i hope it goes well, maybe i'll even write scripts:)! I love reading monologues and scripts so maybe later on i'll plan on doing one throught the year. I am still learning how great writers write and gain writing ideas to create such great stories.
4. Go way up into the sky on an air balloon:) I have always dreamed of doing that it just looks like fun.
5. go to a movie premiere!:) that would be like being in a dream.
6. Meet my favorite singers, and actors:): Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, AnnaSophia Robb, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Joel Courtney, Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, The Band Perry, Freddie Highmore, Sarah Bolger, and Soarsie Ronan, Demi Lovato, and Avril Lavigne.
7. Find out who my ancestors are:) I've always held a deep fascination with finding out who my ancestors were. I don't know maybe i'm just courious of wanting to know.
8. See my old friends from elementary, middle, and high school years, plus see my favorite teachers like my 6th grade teacher Mrs. Guieldon, My 10th and 11th grade history teacher Mr. Medrano, and my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Parker, My 12th grade English teacher Mrs. B. I still miss those wonderful teachers who helped me and showed me the path to succeess.
