My Obsession right Now: Music:)

Posted on 09:01 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

It's me Groovy girl with another blog post I know that I have been neglecting my blog for months but the problem was that I just wasn't sure if it would work out writing a blog post everyday and then thinking that maybe people will not go and read it because maybe they might not interested in the musings of a young lady who is not a celebrity or someone important but is only an unknown person, but I decided to start doing at least one blog post everyday so here I am now trying to start anew, so hope you like reading what I type in my blog:)

This post will be about my favorite obsession right now.

1. Music: I am obsessed with Avicii, Lorde, The Vamps, Eric Saade (a Swedish pop singer), and oldies music such as "San Francisco"by Scott Mackenzie (its an oldies song from the 60s).

Menudo- Claridad with Lyrics

Posted on 17:49 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Lately i've been Menudo crazy!:) love their music it's fun, innocent, and upbeat makes me wish I was still a teenager:) how beautiful their music is. Love their song "Claridad" so here is the video and Lyrics so you can sing along i will also post the lyrics in English so everyone can listen to the song. Hope you like it as much as I do, lucky my mom was a teenager back in the 80s when they were famous.

"Claridad"

Claridad Lyrics (Spanish)

Ven claridad
Llega ya,
Amanece de una vez
Claridad, por piedad
Mata sombras,
Dame luz,
resplandor, libertad
Para no soñarla más,
No ya no,
nunca mas
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Ahh, ahh
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Ven claridad,
Quédate
Y no vuelvas a escapar
No te lleves el sol
Que no quiero recordar
Su figura, su voz
Cada noche que paso
Como ayer, como hoy
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Ahh, ahh
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Si, si, si ,si, si, si, si
Ven claridad, llega ya
Trágate la oscuridad
Llega ya, vuela ya
Que el soñar me va a matar
Basta ya de esperar
De la misma forma
Si necesito tu luz
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Ahh, ahh
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Coloreando el cielo de azul
Me siento un poco mejor, mejor
Llena mi ventana de luz
Se desdibuja su amor, su amor
En la penumbra y en el miedo
Llega a quebrarme la razón
Ella es solo soledad y silencio
No más, regresa claridad
Sol, claridad, viva luz
El trabajo, la ciudad
Caminar y vivir
Como entonces, como fui
Claridad, quédate
Esta noche sobre mí,
Claridad, plenitud
Que olvide su esclavitud
Ahh, ahh
Ahh, ahh
Que vuelvo a su esclavitud
Coloreando el cielo de azul
Me siento un poco mejor, mejor
Llena mi ventana de luz
Se desdibuja su amor, su amor
En la penumbra y en el miedo
Llega a quebrarme la razón
Ella es solo soledad y silencio
No más, regresa claridad
Que olvide su esclavitud, ven, ven, ven
Que olvide su esclavitud, ven, ven, ven
Que olvide su esclavitud, ven, ven, ven
Que olvide su esclavitud, ven, ven, ven

Clarity (Lyrics in English)

Come clarity
Come,
Dawn once
Clarity, by mercy
 kill shadows
Give me light,
brightness, freedom
Not to dream it again
  No longer,
anymore
I return to slavery
Ahh, ahh Ahh, ahh
I return to slavery
Come clarity
Stay
And do not ever escape
Do not take the sun
I do not want to remember
His figure, his voice
Every night I step
Like yesterday, and today
I return to slavery
Ahh, ahh Ahh, ahh
I return to slavery
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Come clarity, and comes
Swallow the dark
Come, flies and
That dream is going to kill me
Enough of waiting
In the same way
If I need your light
I return to slavery
Ahh, ahh Ahh, ahh
I return to slavery
Coloring the blue sky
I feel a little better, better
Light fills my window
It blurs your love, your love
In the darkness and fear
Reason become cracked
She is only silence and solitude
No, go back clearity
 Sun, light, bright light
The work, the city
Walking and living
Since then, as I
Clarity, stay
Tonight on me,
Clarity, completeness
I forget his bondage
Ahh, ahh Ahh, ahh
I forget his bondage
Come clarity, and comes
Swallow the dark
Come, flies and
That the dream
I'm going to kill enough of waiting
In the same way
If I need your light
I return their slavery
Ahh, ahh Ahh, ahh
I return to slavery
Coloring the blue sky
I feel a little better, better
Light fills my window
It blurs your love, your love
In the darkness and fear
Reason become cracked
She is only silence and solitude
No, go back clarity
To forget slavery, come, come, come
To forget slavery, come, come, come
To forget slavery, come, come, come
To forget slavery, come, come, come

The Most Inspiring Songs Ever in my opinion!

Posted on 13:58 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Well here is my own list of my favorite inspirational songs:) I always like to listen to music like this when i feel discouraged or down.

1. "Young Turks" by Rod Stewart

 lyrics:

Billy left his home with a dollar in his pocket and a head full of dreams.
He said somehow, some way, it's gotta get better than this.
Patti packed her bags, left a note for her momma, she was just seventeen,
there were tears in her eyes when she kissed her little sister goodbye.
They held each other tight as they drove on through the night they were so exited.
We got just one shot of life, let's take it while we're still not afraid.
Because life is so brief and time is a thief when you're undecided.
And like a fistful of sand, it can slip right through your hands.
Young hearts be free tonight. Time is on your side,
Don't let them put you down, don't let 'em push you around,
don't let 'em ever change your point of view.
Paradise was closed so they headed for the coast in a blissful manner.
They took a tworoom apartment that was jumping ev'ry night of the week.
Happiness was found in each other's arms as expected, yeah
Billy pierced his ears, drove a pickup like a lunatic, ooh!
Young hearts be free tonight.Time is on your side,
Don't let them put you down, don't let 'em push you around,
don't let 'em ever change your point of view.
[instrumental verse]
Young hearts be free tonight.Time is on your side.
Billy wrote a letter back home to Patti's parents tryin' to explain.
He said we're both real sorry that it had to turn out this way.
But there ain't no point in talking when there's nobody list'ning so we just ran away
Patti gave birth to a ten pound baby boy, yeah!
Young hearts be free tonight, time is on your side.
Young hearts be free tonight, time is on your side.
Young hearts be free tonight, time in on your side.
Young hearts gotta run free, be free, live free
Time is on, time is on your side
Time, time, time, time is on your side
is on your side
is on your side
is on your side
Young heart be free tonight
tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, yeah

2. "Perfect" by Simple Plan

Lyrics:

Hey dad look at me
Think back and talk to me
Did I grow up according to plan?
Do you think I'm wasting my time doing things I wanna do?
'Cuz it hurst when you disapprove all doing
And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't pretend that
I'm alright
And you can't change me

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing lasts forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect

I try not to think
About the pain I feel inside
Did you know you used to be my hero?
All the days you spend with me
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/s/simple-plan-lyrics/perfect-lyrics.html ]
Now seem so far away
And it feels like you don't care anymore
And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't stand another fight
And nothing's alright

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing lasts forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect

Nothing's gonna change the things that you said
Nothing's gonna make this right again
Please don't turn your back
I can't believe it's hard
Just to talk to you
'Cuz you don't understand

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing lasts forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
3. Confessions of a broken Heart (Daughter to Father) by Lindsay Lohan

Lyrics:

I wait for the postman to bring me a letter
I wait for the good Lord to make me feel better
And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders
A family in crisis that only grows older

Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go

Daughter to father, daughter to father
I am broken but I am hoping
Daughter to father, daughter to father
I am crying, a part of me is dying and
These are, these are
The confessions of a broken heart

And I wear all your old clothes, your polo sweater
I dream of another you
The one who would never (never)
Leave me alone to pick up the pieces
A daddy to hold me, that's what I needed

So why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go
Why'd you have to go!!

Daughter to father, daughter to father
I don't know you, but I still want to
Daughter to father, daughter to father
Tell me the truth, did you ever love me
Cause these are, these are
The confessions of a broken heart

I love you,
I love you
I love you
I....!!!!!
I love you!!

Daughter to father, daughter to father
I don't know you, but I still want to
Daughter to father, daughter to father
Tell me the truth...
Did you ever love me!!!?
Did you ever love me?
These are.....
The confessions...of a broken heart

Ohhh....yeah

I wait for the postman to bring me a letter..

4. "Long Live" by taylor Swift

5. Shinedown- "Second Chance"

Lyrics:
My eyes are open wide
And by the way, I made it
Through the day
I watched the world outside
By the way, I'm leaving out
Today

I just saw Hayley's comet
Shooting
Said why you always running
In place?
Even the man in the
Moon disappeared
Somewhere in the
Stratosphere

[Chorus]
Tell my mother,
Tell my father
I've done the best I can
To make them realize
This is my life
I hope they understand
I'm not angry, I'm just saying...
Sometimes goodbye
Is a second chance

Please don't cry
One tear for me
I'm not afraid of
What I have to say
This is my one and
Only voice
So listen close, it's
Only for today

I just saw Hayley's comet
Shooting
Said why you always running
In place?
Even the man in the
Moon disappeared
Somewhere in the
Stratosphere

[Chorus]
Tell my mother,
Tell my father
I've done the best I can
To make them realize
This is my life
I hope they understand
I'm not angry, I'm just saying...
Sometimes goodbye
Is a second chance

Here's my chance
This is my chance

Tell my mother,
Tell my father
I've done the best I can
To make them realize
This is my life
I hope they understand
I'm not angry, I'm just saying...
Sometimes goodbye
Is a second chance

Sometimes goodbye
Is a second chance [x2]
6. Magneto- "Vuela Vuela"

Lyrics:

Cuando pienses que el amor
se ha olvidado de que estas ahi
vuela vuela con tu imaginacion
si no puedes ser feliz
no te rindas puede recurrir
vuela vuela con tu imaginacion
volando encontraras un mundo nuevo
solo dejate llevar
Vuela vuela
no te hace falta equipaje
vuela(vuela)vuela
nadie contrala tu imagen
vuela vuela
veras que todo es posible
vuela(vuela)vuela
despierta tu mente
Si estas solo en un rincon
y la tristeza entra en tu corazon
vuela vuela con tu imaginacion
si andas buscando un lugar
donde el cielo se une con el mar
vuela vuela con tu imaginacion
volando encontraras un mundo nuevo
solo dejate llevar
Vuela vuela
no te hace falta equipaje
vuela (vuela)vuela
nadie contrala tu imagen
vuela vuela
veras que todo es posible
vuela(vuela)vuela
despierta tu mente
Volando encontraras
un mundo nuevo
solo dejate llevar
Vuela vuela
no te hace falta equipaje
vuela (vuela) vuela
nadie controla tu imagen
vuela vuela
veras que todo es posible
vuela (vuela) vuela
despierta tu mente
Vuela vuela
no te hace falta equipaje
vuela vuela
nadie controla tu imagen
vuela vuela

Ulrik Munther- Heroes in Defeat (Change Your Mind)

Posted on 11:12 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

"Heroes in Defeat (Change Your Mind)" by Ulrik Munther is a song that really captivated me because in his lyrics he sings about how many of us have heroes in our lives that we both admire alot. I know i do. But we never stop to think if we can ever find our dream and if we do can we be able to achieve it? His song really makes you think deeply about our own dreams and goals.

Posted on 08:58 by kumar

Lyrics to Munther's song "Boys Don't Cry"

Have you ever done something you can’t change?
Something you can never rearange?
I have, I have.
Have you ever felt so sad you can hardly stand?
Lying on the ground head in your hands?
I have I have.
I can feel it all down deep inside.
But oh, I want to let these feeling rise.
But boys don’t cry.
But boys don’t cry.
I knowe it will be fine
But boys don’t cry.
Have ever try to smile and hide your pain, even though you’re not okey.
I have, I have.
Have ever been caught in the poring rain, wondering if anything can ever bee the same, again. yeah.
You try to bee proud of who you are, but still you got to let those teardrops fall, away.
Oh wait,
But boys don’t cry.
But boys don’t cry.
I knowe it will be fine
But boys don’t cry.

Something you can never rearange,
I have, I have.

Ulrik Munther- Sticks and Stones

Posted on 11:01 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Yesterday i spent the day listening to ulrik Munther's new album that was released on August 24, 2011. And to tell you the truth his album is amazing from beginning to end, there is no doubt!:) My most favorite song out of his album is "Sticks and Stones." The reason i love this song is because its inspirational and really makes me think how much all of us as humans we have our own dreams and goals that we want to accomplish in our own life, but where too afraid or there are barriers that are stopping us from realizing our dreams and goals. Listening to this song really makes me realize that i can too make my dreams come true and that i have to brake away from doing something that i really do not want to do. His song basically says if you want to do something in life that makes you happy then go for it! No matter what other people say about your dreams.

Lyrics of "Sticks and Stones" By Ulrik Munther

Eh eh
Yeah yeah
Oh oh oh

Verse
Just another day
Same in every way
Doing what i should do
What other people say

Bridge
I think it's time i take
Charge of my own faith
I know it's not too late, it's not too late, it's not too late

Eh Eh
Yeah yeah
Oh oh oh

Ref
Well you can break my bones
With sticks and stones
But you can't hold me down
I think it's time i break
The rules you make and make some of my own
I'm taking all your flaws
Your sticks and stones
Your sticks and stones...

Verse
Mistakes I have made
Cut me like a blade
But what really kills me
Is the madness i've obeyed
So to save my soul
I'm taking all they stole

Bridge
I'm breaking my parole, I'm letting go, i'm letting go yeah

Eh eh
Yeah yeah
Oh oh oh

Ref
Well you can break my bones
With sticks and stones
But you can't hold me down
I think it's time i break
The rules you make and make some of my own
I'm taking all your flaws
Your sticks and stones
Your sticks and stones...

Swedish Singer/Songwriter and Gutiarist- Ulrik Munther

Posted on 11:07 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Today i discovered another great singer/songwriter and guitarist. His name's Ulrik Munther hes from Sweden. The 17 year-old gifted singer/songwriter and guitarist was born on February 18, 1994 in Kungsbacka and Kullavick Sweden. Munther won Lilla Melodifestivalen 2009 and went on to MGP Nordic 2009 where he won with their song A typical day  .  He also performed at the Norwegian advertising gala Gull Fish. Han kom tvåa i Metro Music Challenge med sin låt Life . He came second in the Metro Music Challenge with his song Life. 2010 he got a record deal with Universal Music and released his debut album in 2011 .

Ulrich Munther at the Helsinborg Festival in 2011.

“I’m just a kid with a guitar in my hands,

but I know something that some can’t understand…”

Ulrik Munther (2011) his first album
1. Sticks And Stones
2. Boys Don't Cry
3. Kings Of Our Days
4. Moments Ago
5. Kill For Lies
6. Fake It
7. Alburn Road
8. The Box
9. Heroes In Defeat (Change Your Mind)
10. Life
11. Born This Way - Bonus Track (Lady Gaga's cover song)
Ulrik Munther's debut album

"An emotional experience…it’s about young love lost. The voice like a teen Bon Jovi with a bit of Leo Sayer thrown in. The beauty of a moment lost; beauty images: “the leaves were golden when I kissed your lips goodbye. You whispered ‘please remember me’ “. It’s a soft rock love ballad. You can hear the sweet sorrow of something so magic left behind on the album’s track 7: Alburn Road. The memory of a parting kiss, of love that opened a light..” and you thought I was lonely but I never felt that way back then”; there is still a hope of finding that magic again. This works for me, sending me into my own fond memories. This is the musical magic of Munther, but then…a new track -- a new experience!"

"Absence -- with the realization that it didn’t work from the start, “failing me right from the start”. Another love ballad in which the possibility of fulfilled love still waits, with another exquisite lyric line “moments ago I caught the scent of you. I closed my eyes and let it fill the room”.
Ulrik’s vocals are clear as a fjord, that adolescent rasp perfect --a fine song. Ulrik says he writes his best tunes when he’s feeling down or when he’s pumped about life and this seems to bear true. We are drawn into this guitar youth image. The songs speak of what moves him, in an unpretentious manner. No Elizabethan poetry, but real teen fears and difficulties.
Because it’s not easy to show affection in a tough environment. People can hurt you when you’re vulnerable. It’s a problem addressed on Track 5: Kill for Lies… “my fears never let me show I care”. Listen to the dark uncertainty in this song, the turmoil of a teenager trying to unlock the puzzle of emotions that can lead to ridicule and even suicide! The song is a searching anthem. Ulrik’s voice soars majestically through incredible self scrutiny, through the emptiness and pain he discovers… “my soul wages war with self-control, I know, but now I don’t understand the game I play, just the price that i pay- I’ll pay!” This song reaches out huge, the guitar and voice effective in searing us with its message. “Was it all only for dignity and pride that I’m left broken inside?” This is nicely mixed, the chorus has an accusing power and I love its honesty.
Track 11, Born This Way, is Ulrik’s cover of a Lady Gaga song, which Perez Hilton apparently spotted and posted on her web site. Because of it, Ulrik was brought to the attention of a wider community. It’s a simple untouched guitar-voice solo. Ulrik Munther falls into the long tradition of pop rock, with similarities to bands like Kent or Guns and Roses and influences from Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. Yet, his sounds are pleasantly new and unique!!"

In Track 1′s, Sticks and Stones, a young rebel speaks from a snappy rock beat and it’s about self-assertion. He’s tired of ” doing what I should do, what other people say” and decides ” I think its time I break the rules you make and make some of my own”.
Still, these lost love laments seem to be the most popular of Munther’s songs. In the hit single found on Track 2, Boys Don’t Cry, we again hear a sadness, a regret over mistakes or about painful relationships. It’s an appeal for sympathy. It shares “have you ever tried to smile and hide your pain? I have.” “But boys don’t cry” i.e. They don’t show their feelings. The song builds up the chorus with big drums in the background, bells and then… Ulrik’s plaintive voice unfiltered at the end.
This theme of lost glory, of lost childhood, sounds out anew in King of Our Days , featuring a deeper Ulrik voice and a choppy keyboard beat. A very fine “uuh uuh” bridge soothes the memory, before the power of being full of youth asserts itself… “I’m trying to hold on to all this wisdom my whole life”.
“We were kings of little things. We never needed nothing much” -- a gem of a line! BUT “they said we needed to grow up”. To find that magic once more, the message is to be king of days again. “It’s all about right now”. This is a brazen vocal with a pounding chorus.
Fake It is another rocky tune about confusing emotions. It has a driving,a lmost punk beat , with nicely orchestrated chimes and drums that spur Ulrik’s voice onward. Again, it’s about pride and hiding real feelings… “Maybe it’s just my wounded pride, I’m at the point I can’t decide what I want. I’m running out of air”. It’s a song that reminds us: ULRIK MUNTHER is a young cruising rocker, cadillac style!"

Maybe now, with the realization that others are looking to him for inspiration, Ulrik presents us with a series of songs that show a developing life philosophy. The Box is a call to open our minds, to view things from different perspectives… “cause if we all break free from our routines, we’d be climbing up in every tree, just to get a better view of things, and you’ll be surprised”. This is a bit utopic for me, but still, it’s about social awareness. Ulrik doesn’t pretend to be a bard of wisdom, but he is proud of his own.
In Heroes Change Your Mind he sings about the loss of childhood admiration for role models and calls out to find alternative ways to succeed in life. “You’re humbled by your failures before they’re even made”. “Don’t just be a part of the system”. Again, a social concept. Track 10 features Life, one of the most stunning songs on the album, and it shows with what depth Ulrik is already writing. It starts with a lullaby piano and is a somber evaluation of what life is, a miracle to be lived to the fullest. The call is humble, but shows a growing social awareness that his music has brought him. ”I’m just a kid with a guitar in my hands, but i know something that some can’t understand”.

And there it is again, that picture of this young Swedish boy walking onto a glittering stage, into a studio where life is converted into art — art that can briefly touch us where we listen--with our dreamcatchers!
There is no doubt in my mind that this singer will give us more brilliant music, still more inspiration in the future, if he manages to stay true to his concept of honest lyric writing. The album is a fine creation with many vocal highlights. There was one mystery for me, well hidden at the end of the last bonus track--a song called The Scarecrow!! Maybe it’s an early Hallowe’en present from Ulrick, a spooky tale for an autumn night. It’s a song that shows we may yet hear completely different things from him.
This album is, in any case, no juvenile trick — but an acoustic treat!!

That familiar feeling …. you hear a song and the next thing you know it’s stuck in your head. In the next few days you lose count of the number of times you have listened to that song over and over again. The singer releases a new song. Maybe you were thinking that he could not do better than his last release, but he does and now you have a new song to adore.
Meet 17-year-old Ulrik Munther from Sweden -- gifted guitarist, songwriter and singer. When I first heard his original song - Boys Don’t Cry - I was blown away. Finally! A song with a meaning that I really enjoyed. It’s been a while since I’ve heard such a melodic song -- especially nowadays when so many young singers lean toward the much hyped R&B style, with beats and lyrics one can hardly tell apart (they all go: “I love her, she doesn’t love me. Love me, Love me, Love me”. Or “Let’s party “…etc ).

My favorite t.v. Show "American Dreams"

Posted on 12:16 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Love watching "American Dreams" it is a television series that started in 2002 and got cancelled in 2005 for i don't know what reason. I still don't like it that they had to cancel such great t.v. series. I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove everything about this series:)!

"Set to the soundtrack of the '60s, a Philadelphia family moves toward the cultural upheaval in the years ahead. The Pryors' teen daughter Meg tries to shed her "good girl" image by hanging with her worldly friend Roxanne and pursuing a dream of being an "American Bandstand" dancer. Meg's emerging personality, and the changes her mother's going through, don't sit well with Meg's father
From the thrill of dancing to the new Ronettes song to the life-changing assassination of a beloved President, American Dreams follows one family's journey through the joys and pains of America in the '60s and early '70s. At the epicenter of these earth-shattering times is Meg Pryor, a style-conscious 15-year-old whose life revolves around the popular dance show, American Bandstand. While Meg's younger brother and sister are concerned with simple pursuits, her older brother, JJ, is fighting to follow his dreams instead of his father's. And unbeknownst to the kids, their parents are struggling to define their own evolving relationship as partners, parents and people. Meanwhile, the world swirls around them - a vibrant combination of rock and roll, equal rights and soon, war. How will the changing times change this American family?
In this comedy-family-drama about the early 1960's, the Pryor family deals with racism, feminism, adolescence, rock and roll, and general family issues. The daughter, Meg Pryor, dances on the show of the era American Bandstand while learning about love thanks to her less mainstream boyfriend, Luke, and about acceptance with her interracial friendship with her father's employee's son Sam. Patty Pryor, the youngest daughter learns how to grow up in a time of political and social turmoil along with her disabled younger brother Will. The oldest son JJ learns about love with his tumultuous relationship with his wealthy girlfriend Beth. All this time a war rages on in Vietnam and a family struggles to stay together in this controversial era. "

What I love mostly about this show is that it mixes the popular culture of the 60s throught the early 70s with real life family problems throught the Pryor Familie's point of view. Plus the music of the sixties is awesome gives you a full appreciation of how beautiful music was back then just by watching American Bandstand and how history of Rock n' Roll evolved in the early 60s. This show won two Emmy awards.

You can see American dreams seasons 1,2, and 3 online at http://watchseries.eu/serie/american_dreams I am currently watching all of their episdoes because I never wtached this show when it first aired so since i discovered such great t.v. show on youtube while listening to oldies music i decided to give it a try. Now i don't regret finding out about this amazing show.

Posted on 13:41 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Will forever love this song:) reminds me of why there's cute and hot guys in this world:)

Lyrics:

Why do birds

Suddenly appear?

Everytime you are near

Just like me

They long to be

Close to you

Why do stars

Fall down from the sky?

Everytime you walk by

Just like me

They long to be

Close to you
(*) on the day that you were born

The angels got together and decided

To create a dream come true

So they sprinkled moondust in your hair

Of gold and starlight in your eyes of blue

(**) that is why all the girls in town

Follow you all around

Just like me

They long to be

Close to you

Repeat (*)

Repeat (**)

Just like me

They long to be
Repeat (*)

Repeat (**)

Just like me

They long to be

Close to you

Woo... close to you...

The Song that means most to me: Matchbox 20's "Unwell"

Posted on 14:23 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

I just heard this song right now on youtube love this song soo much because it just means alot to me. I've heard it eversince i was in sixth grade back in 2003 i would listen to this song alot on the radio. The music video goes well with the song.

Lyrics:

All day starin' at the ceilin' makin' friends with shadows on my wall
All night hearing voices tellin' me that I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for somethin'
Hold on, feelin' like I'm headed for a breakdown
And I don't know why

But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be, me

I'm talkin' to myself in public, dodging glances on the train
And I know, I know they've all been talkin' about me
I can hear them whisper, and it makes me think
There must be somethin' wrong with me
Out of all the hours thinkin', somehow I've lost my mind

But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/matchbox-20-lyrics/unwell-lyrics.html ]
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be

I've been talkin' in my sleep
Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're takin' me away

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay a while and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be yeah, how I used to be

How I used to be
Well, I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be, how I used to be
I'm just a little unwell

Belanova- Tus Ojos! looove this song:)

Posted on 14:29 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Loooooooove this Spanish song by Belanova "Tus Ojos" it's upbeat and has a Disco beat to it also looove it:)

Lyrics: "Tus Ojos" by Belanova

Viendo tus ojos
puedo descifrar el universo
El viento suave, el azul del cielo
al fin lo entiendo
Que este mundo gira
que algún día he de morir
pero contigo...

CORO
(uhhhh ahhhh uhh uhh)
y en esta historia...
(uhhh ahhhh uhh uhh)
no existe el tiempo
porque en tus brazos
te inventé el universo
al fin entiendo
que el pasado y el futuro solo existe hoy

Viendo tus ojos
puedo descifrar el universo
El viento suave, el azul del cielo
al fin lo entiendo
Que este mundo gira que algún día
he de morir
pero contigo...

CORO
(uhh ahhh uhh uhh)
y en esta historia...
(uhhh ahhh uhh uhh)
no existe el tiempo
porque en tus brazos
te inventé el universo
al fin entiendo
que el pasado y el futuro solo existe hoy

(uhhhh ahhh)
y hoy te amo...
y hoy te amo...
y hoy te amo...oh oh ohh ohh
y hoy te amo...oh oh ohh ohh

My comfort song- Linda Ronsdadt's song "Blue Bayou"

Posted on 12:35 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Looooove listening to this song:) it's lyrics comfort me so much I listen to it everytime i feel blue or sad, or lonely. I recommend you guys listen to this classic song:) you'll love the lyrics so much.

The Lyrics By Linda Ronsdadt "Blue Bayou"

I feel so bad I got a worried mind
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickles saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be

Gonna see my baby again
Gonna be with some of my friends
Maybe I'll feel better again
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickles saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be

Oh that boy of mine
By my side
The silver moon
And the evening tide
Oh some sweet day
Gonna take away
This hurting inside
Well I'll never be blue
My dreams come true
On Blue Bayou.

My favorite 70's Music!:)

Posted on 10:48 by kumar
Hello Everyone!

Today I want to share the LOVE of the 70's!:) that's deep inside me. I love everything about the 70's the fashion, the music, the culture, the movies, televison shows:) My most favorite is the music of that era. Two of my most favorite are Disco and Pop 70's music here are some of my favorites, that you might like yes or no.

David Cassidy's 1972 hit song "Cherish" I love this song because it's lyrics are so touching and it reminds me of how much you wish you could tell that person how much you cherish their love.
Leif Garret's "When I Think of You" love this song:) reminds me of summertime love and beaches, and just relaxing and having fun.

Blondie's song "Heart of Glass" is my favorite:) love to listen to it all the time:)

Andy Gibb's 1977 song "I Just want to Be Your Everything" is another great song:) that really has great lyrics and is an all time favorite of mine personally. I used to think the BeeGees sang this song because their voice sound so familiar to his but then after doing research of my own on the internet did i find out that Andy Gibbs sings this beautiful song:) Loooooooove it:)

And Now to some of my most favorite Disco songs:)!!!!

The Silver Convention is probably one of my most favorite Disco artists from the 70's singing two of my favorite tracks called "Fly Robin Fly" and "Get Up and Boogie"

Silver Conventions "Get up and Boogie" and Fly Robin Fly"
Leif Garret's "I Was Made For Dancin" love listening to this classic disco song by this famous teen idol from the 70's.

Another great Disco song that I like is The BeeGees song "Jive Talking" this song makes me dance evrytime I listen to it. Pure Aweosmeness!:)

K.C. and The Sunshine band's  song Shake Shake Shake  Your Booty"

The Keane Brothers Disco song from their album Taking Off called "Candy" love this sweet soulful classic sound of this song:) plus i love the lyrics:)
